Mostly tender, often funny, always a little sad, Haley Lauw’s sculptures are tidy compositions about connection.
Using found objects and waste material from the fabrication industry, Haley’s work is responsive to attachment theory and their experience as a queer person with CPTSD and Bipolar disorder.
They have been a resident artist at The Wassaic Project, ChaNorth, The Pajama Factory, The Facility for Arts Research at Florida State University, The Hive Project at TurnPark Art Space, and Sou’Wester.
Haley is a lead creative fabricator for Matchless Builds.
