Hyun Jung Jung is a Korean artist and a designer currently based in Portland, Oregon. She studied textiles design at Rhode Island School of Design. 

With great interest in Pop culture, she continuously attempts to create works that people from different backgrounds can easily relate and respond to. Subjects that she has explored include fast-food, brand logos, toys, arcade games, cartoon characters, social media, and etc. These topics allow her to create pieces that are very personal to her, yet relatable to her generation. She conveys her ideas by mixing familiar imagaries from pop culture with her own interpretation of colors, materials. patterns, shapes, and structures. 

She plans to continue creating works that capture the generation that she lives, and to fuel dialogues.
